Terms and conditions
Who you are contracting with
Avenlo is a trading name of Youna Cho ("Avenlo", "we", "us"). When you purchase or use our resources you enter into an agreement with Youna Cho. You confirm you are of legal age to contract or have permission from a parent or guardian.
Acceptance
By continuing to use this website, or by purchasing or downloading a resource, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
The product
Avenlo sells digital study resources such as revision notes, worksheets and exam-practice materials. All products are digital files; nothing is shipped. Files are delivered by secure, time-limited download link and through your account library after payment.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. This includes unlawful use, fraud or spam, infringing anyone's intellectual property, uploading malware, probing or interfering with our security, and automated scraping of the site or files.
Intellectual property
We retain all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including the resources, artwork, software, documentation and the Avenlo branding. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.
Licence
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal-use licence for one student or household, including printing for personal use. Redistribution, resale, public posting, reverse engineering and circumvention of technical limits are not permitted.
Payment and subscription terms
Payment, billing, taxes, invoicing, cancellations and refunds are handled by Paddle under the Paddle Buyer Terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Prices are shown before you confirm an order and may include tax depending on your location.
Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment or chargeback abuse, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Files you have lawfully downloaded remain yours to use under your personal licence.
Service level and warranties
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability
Resources are study aids and we do not guarantee any particular examination outcome. To the extent permitted by law our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 12 months, and we exclude indirect or consequential loss. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Independence
Avenlo is an independent publisher and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel or the International Baccalaureate.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the seller's place of business, and disputes are subject to its courts. Questions: use the contact page on this website.
